有一封菲律賓少年給世界的信件（A letter from a teenage Filipino to the WHOLE WORLD），算作該國公民對我國香港游客被屠殺時間的反應。
筆者認為，這封信是不可接受的。茲以一個中國網(wǎng)民的身份，回答如下：
什么叫“世界上沒有人希望發(fā)生那樣的事情”？難道我國香港的游客是被野獸吃掉的，而非被一個菲律賓人，一個菲律賓警察所殺？難道他不是人？我們說這個世界上至少有一個人希望發(fā)生那樣的事情。甚至不止一個，那些本該挺身而出保衛(wèi)游客的菲律賓司機、導游等人，都放任了屠殺。甚至那個司機以及兇手的弟弟，似乎都不能排除同謀的嫌疑。怎么會是沒有人希望發(fā)生那樣的事情，他們不都希望并且努力地使事件超此方向發(fā)展了嗎？
我國有一位偉大的思想家魯迅先生，他在遺囑中告誡我們：“損著別人的牙眼,卻反對報復,主張寬容的人,萬勿和他接近。”因為那是世界上最陰毒的小人。而此信作者的想法和那種小人不相伯仲。不是嗎，殺人了，卻說沒有人愿意殺人！好像真有一只鬼附了誰的身體一樣。
菲律賓或者“民族堅強卓越”，“風景秀美”，但這絕不是你們可以屠殺我國游客的理由。
菲律賓或者“面臨著無數(shù)的難題”，但這也絕不成為在你們查清事件真相，懲辦瀆職者并真誠道歉前原諒你們的理由。
我很疑惑，為什么受害者明明是中國香港的公民。你卻要給世界寫信。你想通過世界來實現(xiàn)什么？你想拉世界做什么？
我很鄙夷你文末的說法，“這一次讓我們站在一起不放下任何人，擁護生命，擁護愛。”仿佛你寫此信的誘因，不是很多中國香港游客在菲律賓首都被殺，而是一個菲律賓志愿者在中國創(chuàng)造了愛的人間奇跡一樣。
甚矣！汝之不惠！甚矣！汝之不仁！

Maybe Philipine is "a strong and extraodinary nation"or"rich in beautiful scenery".But in no occation can this be the reason why you philipinos killed CHINESE tourists.
Maybe Philipine is faced with "countless troubles",but it can't be the excuse and you won't get chinese people's forgiveness until you make out the case and punish those officers who ignore their responsibilities.
I wonder that you write to the whole world while the victims are from HK,Chinese.What do you mean to do with the whole world's power?Why do you involve all the people in the world into the case?
As a chinese citizen,I look down on your words at the end of your article,"And we all stand together this one time then no one will get left behind. Stand up for life."Your article pretends to be that a philipino volunteer has created a miracle of "LOVE" and the fact that chinese tourists were killed in Philipine seems not to exist at all.
SO FAKE YOU ARE.AND SO CRAFTY YOU ARE!

文末附來信中文譯本如下：
當你讀到這封信的時候，我打賭你一定聽說了最近發(fā)生在我們國家的事情。
一群游客被一個叫門多薩的警察挾持為人質(zhì)。這種可怕的行為持續(xù)了幾個小時后，幾名游客被殺害，挾持人質(zhì)者也被打死。
我寫這封信的目的不僅僅是為了道歉，同時也是想讓每個人都知道，我們菲律賓人不都像門多薩那樣。我們是心中有愛的好心人。
很多年以來，我們的國家在大大小小的困難面前都有卓越的表現(xiàn)。幾年之前（當我還沒有出生的時候），你們看到了我們?yōu)樽约赫J為正確的東西而抗爭。
我們?yōu)槲覀儑业拿裰鞫窢帲珽DSA革命。但這只是其中之一。
第二，我們菲律賓人為了家庭服務于其他的國家，就像對到自己的家人一樣。恕我直言，我感謝你們多年來對我們的信任，幫助我們成為如今的我們。
菲律賓不只是一些島嶼，我們的民族堅強卓越，我們的國家風景秀美人民熱情好客堅守信仰。
我為今晚發(fā)生的事誠摯道歉，世界上沒有人希望發(fā)生那樣的事情，因為生命必須被尊重。
我禮貌的請求全世界注意，請不要只因為今晚發(fā)生的事情評判和誤解我們。
我已經(jīng)在網(wǎng)絡上搜索并且發(fā)現(xiàn)了可怕的事情，香港抵制來菲律賓旅游，中國和香港對菲律賓發(fā)出禁令指出菲律賓是最不應該去的地方。
我不能指責你們的決定但我希望你們理解，我們的國家面臨著無數(shù)的難題，我也知道我們會為你們提供這樣或那樣的幫助。讓和平與理解流傳吧。
我知道這封信也只會被丟棄，但我希望你們的理解。我代表所有菲律賓人說，對不起。就像一首歌唱的那樣。
我相信有生之年我會看到絕望、放棄和痛苦的盡頭，這一次讓我們站在一起不放下任何人，擁護生命，擁護愛。（具名略）
